Starting Point - Sepai Plains Outpost
First thing is first - time to trade in all of my loot, gold and trade commodities, gathered on the hike back to my ship. Called ship to landing pad and headed inside. I leave a couple hundred thousand units richer...and get a milestone!

Time to take off from Sepai. As I'm launching, I notice a signal scanner beam...There's another shelter right nextdoor!. Its a very quick hop. There are two big buildings here. Its like an outpost, just without a landing pad structure. The inside of these structures is laid out differently than what I have found to date. The first building isn't that exciting - just some tech, but something I definitely want to install when I have the material. The second building though...It has a few things I have never seen. The first is the yellow device, which reminds me immediately of Bit in Tron. When I interact with it, I discover that it is a healing device. I have seen one of these freestanding terminals (they contained the traveler's logs) but not in this configuration, and certainly not one marked as a Korvax Transmission Tower. Is this what the signal scanner would have led me to when choosing the transmission option? I have to crack the encryption on the terminal to get the coordinates of the distress call. I am stumped at first (always was terrible with math) but soon enough I realize that it is an increasing multiple. 1x2=2 2x3=6 6x4=24 24x5=120 120x6...is 720! I have figured out the pattern, and then I am zoomed out high above the planet...and shown the location of a crashed ship! Yes!!!

At the next marker I find another shelter. Before reaching it I spot a knowledge stone.

At the new shelter I find some tech for my multitool.

The next marker is another shelter. I find some boltcaster tech inside. On the hill behind the shelter, I spot another knowledge stone!

A good look at the flyby ships. I have a close enough view this time to see that one of them in particular is identical to a ship that was on the landing pad at one of the last outposts I visited. I have my answer now - these are ships belonging to the various Korvax. Mathmaticians, Geologists, Engineers, Traders, also present on this world, exploring and going about business that I am not privy to.

Finally another drop pod!

Something new I'm coming across in this region. The still of this stuff doesn't do it justice. It literally looks like a bubbling green cauldron!

A huge gold deposit!

Sentinel checking me out.

Some of the Hyena looking creatures hanging out in the grass. My ship is in the background off to the right.

A merchant ship on the landing pad at the base.

This one reminds me of a cross between a Viper and and X-Wing. It even has what looks like an astromech droid! I end up buying it from the physicist lifeform, as it is an improvement over my current ship in both looks and number of slots.

Leaving the base I have a good run, finding a drop pod, a shelter, a storage facility and another knowledge stone.

The next shelter I come upon is both interesting and disturbing. It is another one of the derelict shelters with the green slime growing inside. What makes this one of particular interest to me when compared to the others is what I find inside. It is what looks like a containment cylinder of some kind that the green slime appears to have shattered and broken out of.

Another knowledge stone.

Another shelter and drop pod.

A couple minutes from the drop pod, I find another monolith.

A new milestone! Woo!

Found this giant iridium vein as I was walking. This sucker was HUGE and DEEP. I was very careful not to fall in because honestly I'm not sure if I could have gotten out.

A pretty daytime shot of that last drop pod.

Three more knowledge stones I came across in my wanderings.

I really want to know what that diamond shaped thing is. I always lose sight of it before I can get around to flying up to it and taking a look.

Another small storage facility.

Time to take off and fly to the location of the crashed ship. Don't know why exactly, but it reminds me of Lonestar's space Winnebago. A little investigation tells me that it isn't worth repairing or taking possession of. Less slots than what I already have, and not nearly as cool as my Viper/X-wing ship. Oh well. I also found a distress beacon at the site, no doubt the one that belonged to the ship. I'm able to recover some advanced cooling tech.

The next outpost I come to is one of the secured manufacturing facility variety. The entrance is locked and protected by heavily armored doors. I blast them open with some grenades and am immediately set upon by three sentinels. I'm able to dispatch them with my multi-tool's boltcaster before they can call any more of their friends. Ultimately I am rewarded with tech and a valuable tech recipe. Worth the scuffle with the sentinels.

Another shelter with some modest multi tool tech inside.

Another monolith looms into view. This is another one talking about the Korvax Echoes and the 'Convergence'.

I discover another shelter and drop pod before locating another post, one of the big boys with a landing pad. I'm always excited to find one of these as it means there will be a trade terminal where I can hand in my mined loot. I also find a better multi tool.
